More updates on the case according to mtv.com "At about 10:30 p.m. PT Sunday night, police were called to the 400 block of North La Brea in Inglewood. When police arrived on the scene, they found Talbert seated in the driver's seat of a black unspecified vehicle with at least two gunshot wounds to the head. Paramedics then took him to a local hospital where Talbert eventually succumbed to his injuries.

Witness accounts confirm that the rapper was seated in his car when the gunmen pulled alongside him in a separate vehicle and let off at least two rounds. The suspects fled northbound on La Brea."

Yvette Wilson, Actress on TV’s ‘Moesha,’ Dies at 48

Yvette Wilson, a comedian and actress best known for her work on the popular 1990s sitcom “Moesha” and its equally popular spinoff, “The Parkers,” died on Thursday. She was 48. The cause was cervical cancer, said her manager, Holly Carter. Ms. Wilson, who lived in Los Angeles, where she was born in 1964, began her career as a stand-up comic. She was seen on the sketch show “In Living Color” and the sitcom “Thea” and in movies including “Friday,” “Poetic Justice” and “House Party III.” She achieved her greatest fame on “Moesha,” which starred the singer Brandy and ran on the UPN network from 1996 to 2001. Ms. Wilson portrayed Andell Wilkerson, owner of the popular hangout the Den, on “Moesha.” She played the same role on “The Parkers,” which ran from 1999 to 2004. On that show, the story of a mother and daughter who attend college together, Andell was the best friend of the mother, Nikki Parker, played by the comedian and actress Mo’Nique.
